  13.   A) WHAT YOU RECEIVE WHEN YOU REGISTER

  15.      1) The latest update of the EZ-Index for Canadian Geographic program.
  16.         It doesn't matter when you register or order the program, January
  17.         or August, the index will always have the latest issue indexed.
  18.  
  19.         The issues are added bi-monthly as they become available, so whenever
  20.         you register/order you will receive the latest issue in the update.
  21.  
  22.      2) Ninety days of free technical support as set out in the support
  23.         section.

  25.      3) To the registered user of another EZ-index we offer a 10% discount.

  40.   B) HOW THE EZ-INDEX "VERSIONS" ARE SETUP
  41.  
  42.      We have tried to arrange the versions of the EZ-Index to enable the
  43.      user to purchase a version that relates as close as possible to the
  44.      collection of magazines a user may have.  When you register you should
  45.      decide which version you want, this will be dictated by the magazines
  46.      you now have or plan to collect.  (If you live near a large library
  47.      with back issues of the magazine you may want a larger version.)
  48.  
  49.      We suggest if your collection begins with Nov. 1986 issue you should
  50.      order v1.85.  If your subscription begins November 1989, you may want
  51.      to start with v1.90, beginning with January 1990, you lose accessing
  52.      your November and December 1979 issue, but it saves you from searching
  53.      28 issues of information that's redundant.  You can see the versions
  54.      and the time frame available by viewing the order form or the
  55.      "Version Guide" below.

  58.   C) VERSIONS/Which Version Should You Order?
  59.  
  60.      "The present" refers to the last issue we've received from the Canadian
  61.      Geographical Society and we've indexed.  When we receive your order-
  62.      registration payment we will ship via first class mail a diskette of
  63.      the EZ-Index with the latest issue indexed.  The "unregistered shareware"
  64.      version v1.90 that you have covers January, 1990 to April, 1995, will
  65.      not have the latest issue in it.

  67.      Version Guide:-
  68.      v1.85 = the period from January 1985 to the present ------  10+ years
  69.      v1.90 = the period from January 1990 to the present ------   5+ years

  71.   D) UPDATE and UPGRADES
  72.  
  73.     The EZ-Index programs will be updated monthly as the magazines become
  74.      available.  For individuals, educational institutions, and commercial
  75.      enterprises that would like an quarterly, or bi-yearly update please
  76.      contact us for information and price
  77.  
  78.      Example: If your registered copy is v1.85, 1985 to August, 1995, then,
  79.      when you update you will receive a copy that includes 1985 to August,
  80.      1996 for $6.94 plus S/H.  If you order your update in January, 1997,
  81.      will receive the latest update with the present issue indexed
  82.      (Jan/Feb. 1996) for:  $6.95 + $4.00 S/H in Canadian funds.

  84.      ALL updates regardless of the version are:  $6.95  plus $4.00 S/H.

  86.      Fill in the v ____ M ____ Y ___ on the order form so we can send you
  87.      the right version ending with at least 12 months. If you update 14
  88.      months after your ending date you will receive an update with the
  89.      latest issue indexed.

  91.      Updates will be available to register user through our BBS at
  92.      506-529-4067.  Logon and select the appropriate "bulletin" for
  93.      information for product updates.  See the BBS section in the manual.

  95.      Please note:
  96.      You can not UPDATE from the "unregistered shareware" version to a
  97.      "REGISTERED" version.  You can not update from one version to another,
  98.      that would be an step-up.

  100.      Version Step-Up:
  101.      All Step-Ups from one version to another between v1.90 and v1.85 are:
  102.      $6.00 plus $4.00 S/H.
  103.      Please select your version carefully so you won't require a version
  104.      step-up.

  106.      At the present time UPDATES and STEP-UPs are only available
  107.      through E-Z Access Software Ltd.

  110.   E) EDUCATIONAL/COMMERCIAL USERS

  112.      (The price is the same as the ones listed on the order form.

  114.      On orders of 10 or more copies you will receive a 10% discount.  The
  115.      first 10 copies are billed at the regular price and the 10% discount
  116.      applied to all copies above 10.

  198.     When you register through CompuServe you will be charged in U.S. funds:

  222.    HOW DOES THE "SWREG" WORK?
  223.    ══════════════════════════
  224.    The registration takes place by using a "SWREG" number, short for
  225.    "Shareware Registration."  You must have an account with CompuServe in
  226.    order to register the EZ-Index programs.  CompuServe will bill your account
  227.    the amount that relates to the SWREG number you register.  Once you've
  228.    registered, Compuserve will provide E-Z Access Software with your name,
  229.    address and SWREG registration number, we in turn will mail you your
  230.    registered copy of the program.  The program we mail will correspond with
  231.    the SWREG number you registered.

  233.    If you have a problem with registering there are files in the SWREG forum
  234.    that explain the registration process.  Note, there are files dealing with
  235.    what technical support Compuserve expects E-Z Access to provide the
  236.    registrant and the procedure to use when applying for a refund.

  239.    Type: GO SWREG at the Compuserve prompt to register a program or view
  240.    information on registering software through Compuserve. There are two
  241.    files located in the SWREG forum, "Shareware Registration" and
  242.    "Registration Instructions" that explain how to register software.

  244.    If you require a different diskette size rather than 3½HD you can fill-
  245.    out FORM1.TXT, with the name/address/diskette size/version information,
  246.    and then E-Mail to us at 74002,1261.
